Eye of the Beholder

Four complete days of the bodymedia.  I find that the only difficult part…much like every other thing that I have had a chance to try (Weight Watchers app, Lose it! app) is logging food from a restaurant that doesnt have precise nutrition information.

Like today, had stir fry with squash, broccoli, water chestnuts, baby corn, green pepper, red pepper, chicken, and light soy sauce.  It’s so frustrating to estimate when I need to be PRECISE.

Damn.

In other news, since Sunday (204) I am now at 201. 

Keep on keepin on.

My Easter basket included a bodymedia fit. I’m very excited to put this in to motion. Walked with my mom for 7,000 steps for an hour.

Probably did nothing for all the Easter candy and food I ate…so we will start positively tomorrow.

I wonder what it’s like to have an actual connection with somebody. Be it friend or lover. I’m always seemingly 2nd choice. I know that part of that is on me. But then again, I’ve never minded all that much because I’ve never felt that connected to anyone.

So I decided to go for a run today. Must be all the chia seeds I’m eating. Ran around quaint little Kenosha, WI. Pretty town, good run.

I’m so glad I am over my depression of last year.  Now I can be happy for all the little things in life that are just so great.  “What are you talking about Karen?” you say.  Here are the highlights:

-Today I scheduled my last four classes before I have a Masters Degree in my hand.  Suck it higher education!

-Michael Jackson’s “Rock With You” was on in the car right before I parked.

-I parked on the floor of the garage that requires no stairs to get to the main street.

-My coworkers and I ARE GOING TO WIN the Mega Millions Jackpot.
